He was a cute little furball of a maltese. Mochi. It seems like the best dog names are either one or two-syllabled. Three is just too much, two is cute, and one is short and sweet.

This is my dog, Jasmine. Another furry little maltese. She’s an old lady now, though. She refuses to play fetch and snores loudly when she sleeps, waking the ‘rents.

If I had a black mutt, a little terrier, I would name him Scout. Or Mochi. Or maybe Kewpie.

Speaking of mochi, here is some I made on Saturday. It’s a great little recipe that I will link to eventually. Wrap it around diced strawberries and have it over frozen yogurt for a bite of summer. Or just eat it straight up, out of the bowl, for sticky-fingered sweetness.
